The holistic cures have long appealed to me because of the treatment of ‘the whole human being’ and everything that can influence this, such as living conditions, work situation and nutrition.
Based on this interest, I followed a course in kemoma massage in 2005/2006. This proved to be a good method to stimulate blood circulation, to let a client relax and thereby stimulate the overall well-being. My interest was awakened and I was looking for a sequel. For that reason I started in 2011 at the 4-year (higher professional education) Zen Shiatsu training, where I graduated in 2015, including the western medical subjects anatomy, physiology and pathology. I also followed the chair massage course. Through workshops and refresher courses I continue to deepen my knowledge.
Shiatsu offers me the opportunity to support people in their life processes. Shiatsu is a voyage of discovery, both for me and for the client. A road that you can travel together for a shorter or longer period.
I am a member of the Association for the Promotion of Alternative Medicine (VBAG).
My practice is located in Puth in the Netherlands.
